Ex-Roma President Rosella Sensi backs Mourinho amid media criticism | OneFootball

Former Roma President Rosella Sensi once again reiterated her support for Giallorossi boss Jose Mourinho.

In light of recent criticism targeting the Special One as a result of Roma’s latest defeat to Bologna, Sensi told Radio Radio. “I think I was clear in expressing what I think, Mourinho gives us added value, he has united us in his feelings of both joy and pain with the club, it is good that he is there, I have great respect for this coach and I’m happy he’s with us.”

“You always have to evaluate the value of a professional, I remember all the statements in which Mourinho defended us, he also expressed himself after the final in Budapest. In Rome we only remember the negative moments and not the positive ones.”

“I believe that the current ownership – and not the previous one which was destructive – and this coach are giving us back an identity that we had lost.”
