Everton Star ‘Mad’ Sometimes Admits Toffees Team-mate | OneFootball

Everton star Vitaliy Mykolenko has insisted that Toffees skipper Jordan Pickford is ‘mad’ sometimes, but stressed that he is very approachable off the pitch.

The Merseyside outfit have made drastic improvements since David Moyes was appointed to stabilise the ship earlier this year.

They sit 15th in the Premier League table, with no fear of relegation, and are now looking to finish the season strongly under new ownership.

Mykolenko hailed the Everton captain, Pickford, and made it clear that he has a very good chemistry with the England goalkeeper.

The Ukrainian full-back revealed Pickford’s passion during matches and stressed that sometimes the 31-year-old can get ‘mad’.

The 25-year-old, however, admitted that Pickford is helpful and he is very approachable off the field.

“Sometimes he’s mad! But he’s a very good guy off the pitch and in the dressing room”, Mykolenko told Everton’s website about Pickford.

“He’s a good guy, and you can ask him anything you want.

“On the pitch, I think we have a good connection with him, so we know what each other will do.”

Pickford has been Everton’s first choice all season, as expected and has kept ten clean sheets, conceding 41 goals in the Premier League.

With four games left in the league season, Mykolenko and Pickford will aim to finish the campaign strongly by keeping a water-tight defence.

Then Moyes is expected to get to work in the summer transfer window to try to strengthen the squad as moving up the Premier League table next season becomes Everton’s clear focus.,
