Keen to bolster Ruben Amorim’s options with Premier League-proven players, INEOS have added two more names to their shortlist ahead of the window opening on June 1.
As it stands, Manchester United’s most concrete targets have all spent their 2024/2025 campaign in the English top flight. A deal for Matheus Cunha is as good as done, while they’ve also held face-to-face talks with Liam Delap and been heavily linked with Bryan Mbeumo.
Now, according to ESPN, the Red Devils have sounded out a double swoop for Crystal Palace’s star duo Adam Wharton, valued at £80 million, and Eberechi Eze, valued at £65m.

It’s safe to say that a move for either player would be hard to come by. Not only are the pair absolutely integral to the project Oliver Glasner is overseeing at Selhurst Park, but it’s also going to be essential that Palace have enough depth in the squad to account for Europa League football next season.
Yet, in the event one – or both – of the players pushes for a summer transfer, United will be waiting in the wings to test the Eagles’ resolve. There are hopes Amorim can orchestrate a successful league campaign, however that may look for the 20-time champions these days, due to the lack of fixture congestion.
In addition, fans will expect to see the Reds advance to the final stages in both cup competitions, and with nine Premier League sides balancing European action in some form, it could well pave the way for United to bag some much-needed silverware and a considerable morale boost.
Aside from potential arrivals, United will formally bid farewell to departing trio Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans at the end of June – all of whom were able to play in front of the Old Trafford faithful one last time during Sunday’s win.
