Just when Manchester City needed a hero, the Norway international fired the reigning champions ahead against Everton.

It was a fine strike at the back post to rescue City on what’s been an otherwise frustrating afternoon for Pep Guardiola’s men.
That goal from Haaland, on his 50th start, is his 50th for the club since arriving last summer.
According to Opta, that’s more than any other player in Premier League history in their first 50 matches.
And it was one more just a few moments later as he raced in and finished brilliantly past Jordan Pickford to double City’s lead.
