The successful partnership between Eintracht Frankfurt and main sponsor Indeed will continue for the long term.

The successful partnership between Eintracht Frankfurt and main sponsor Indeed will continue for the long term. The Champions League participants and the world’s biggest job website have extended their contract, which was due to run until 2026, by three more years. It’s already the third contract extension since the beginning of the collaboration in 2017.

Since then, Indeed has accompanied the traditional Hessian club on its outstanding progress both on and off the pitch. The two partners have celebrated high points such as the DFB Cup win in 2018, the run to the UEFA Europa League semi-finals in 2019, the 2020 cup semi-final, the Europa League triumph in 2022, the UEFA Champions League round of 16 in 2023, the cup final in 2023 and third place in the Bundesliga last season. That success story is now set to be continued.

The partnership extends far beyond men’s professional football: Indeed is also the main sponsor of the women’s first team, supports the U21s as the oldest age-group team, the esports division, club sports, the football school and the legends team. The company is also involved as a partner in EintrachtTech, Deutsche Bank Park and in the area of sustainable future – making it the largest sponsor of the world’s biggest multi-sport club with a professional football team.

Standing up for values together – Indeed sets club record

Eintracht Frankfurt and Indeed define themselves together by much more than just the logo on the front of the jersey. In recent years, Indeed has frequently and willingly given up its place on the Eagles’ jersey to draw attention to socio-political issues through the reach of the men’s and women’s Bundesliga teams.

Right from the start, the partnership has been a symbol of solidarity and underlined the joint commitment towards better living and working conditions for all. For example, the organisation Tent Partnership for Refugees, which campaigns to improve access to the labour market for refugees, has adorned the shirt at times.

In addition, jointly produced TV commercials featuring Eintracht’s top athletes and Indeed’s long-standing, well-known and popular advertising character ‘Ingrid’ have achieved almost cult status. With the term now fixed until 2029, Indeed will have been Eintracht Frankfurt’s main sponsor for a total of 12 years – longer than any other company before it in this role.

Axel Hellmann, CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG: “Since the start of our partnership in 2017, Eintracht Frankfurt and Indeed have written a success story that is probably unique in its form. This collaboration, based on deep trust and mutual appreciation, proves that an international outlook and down-to-earth values are not mutually exclusive, but – as in our case – form a perfect symbiosis. This is evidenced not only by more than eight years of collaboration, but also by the way we have filled this time with creativity, reliability and vitality. We are delighted and proud that a global leader such as Indeed will continue to stand by our side in the future and will resolutely continue the positive development of recent years together with us.

Frank Hensgens, managing director of Indeed Deutschland GmbH: “We are proud to remain the main sponsor of Eintracht Frankfurt. This early extension confirms a partnership that will now span 12 years, an unusually long commitment in professional football which reflects our mutual trust and our ambition to continue growing with each other. In everyday working life as well as in sport, strong teams are built on mutual appreciation and the incorporation of different perspectives. From the start, Eintracht and ourselves have been united by the belief that everyone should be able to freely develop their potential. There is plenty that we want to do in the future – the club in a sporting sense and Indeed in our role as partner. We look forward to the new season in three strong competitions, and to developing new ideas together and reaching the next stages of our cooperation.”
