Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has this evening dropped a major hint, regarding the imminent arrival of Kylian Mbappé at the club.
The name of frontman Mbappé has of course taken its place front and centre in the Spanish media headlines over the course of the last week.
This comes with it now common knowledge that the 25-year-old, for all intents and purposes, can be considered a Real Madrid player.
After last week informing Paris Saint-Germain of his decision not to renew his expiring contract beyond the summer, Mbappé has been locked in intense negotiations with Los Blancos ever since.
And as much are expected to bear imminent fruit, ensuring that another of world football’s standout performers will be plying his trade at the Santiago Bernabéu from next season on.
In fact, so close does the transfer now appear, that one current member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad already feels comfortable publicly alluding to Mbappé’s arrival.
The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.
Speaking on Thursday, as cited by Defensa Central, midfielder Camavinga was drawn on the French connection which has long run through the playing ranks at Real Madrid.
And, in his response, the 21-year-old made use of the opportunity to drop a less than subtle hint regarding fellow countryman Mbappé’s incoming:
“The fact that there is always a French player at Real Madrid shows how many good French players there are. I hope we can have more of them here with us soon (smiles).”
