Multiple outlets are reporting that Roma now have a full agreement in place with Premier League side Aston Villa for the signing of Jamaica international Leon Bailey.

According to the likes of Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano, Roma have reached an agreement over a loan deal with an option to buy for the 28-year-old winger, who has spent the last four seasons in the Premier League at Villa Park.

The Giallorossi will bring Bailey in on an initial loan deal at a cost of €2m-€3m, and will have an option to make the move permanent at a later date for a fixed fee of €22m, which could bring the total cost of the deal up to the €25m mark.

Gianluca Di Marzio confirms that the former Bayer Leverkusen winger will arrive in the Italian capital on Monday night in order to complete his medical and sign off on the last few documents before the move is officially announced.

Roma had also been looking at the possibility of signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, but that deal is no longer expected to happen given the player’s salary demands and his reported desire to play Champions League football next season.

There have been reports on Monday suggesting that the Giallorossi are also interested in adding England U21 star Jonathan Rowe to an attacking department that already includes Paulo Dybala, Matias Soule, Tomasso Baldanzi, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Stephan El Shaarawy and soon to be Bailey as well.
