Dominik Kaiser will continue to work with RB Leipzig after the 36-year-old signed a two-year contract extension to carry on his role as "Head of the Career Center", keeping him at the club until 2027. RBL's former captain took on the role in 2023 following the end of his playing career. His job was established to form a key link between the club's academy and first team.

Dominik Kaiser, Head of the Career Center:

  1. “I’m really pleased that our journey together at RB Leipzig will continue. I really enjoy the role, especially working with young players who are still at the beginning of their careers. Supporting, advising and guiding them on their way into professional football is a crucial part of what we do.In recent years, we’ve developed many young players through the Career Center, who have already made their mark in Germany’s top three divisions or are now ready to take the next steps, such as Jonathan Norbye or Timo Schlieck most recently. Our shared goal remains to sustainably develop players for our first team.”

After the end of his playing career, Kaiser initially gained insights into the club’s first-team operations, scouting department and academy during a five-month internship.

In 2023, he took over as head of the newly established Career Center. In this role, he serves as the main point of contact for players out on loan, as well as their clubs. He also works closely with youngsters from the club's academy that are on the brink of breaking into the first team. His responsibilities include close support and individual guidance for the players, building and maintaining a national and international network, and working closely with RB Leipzig’s sporting management.
