Details of Boniface offer: Milan bid €30m loan with option to buy | OneFootball

More details are emerging on the Milan proposal to Bayer Leverkusen for Victor Boniface, as it would be a loan with option to buy for a total of €30m.

The Rossoneri have been searching for a striker all summer, with options including Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund.

While all those would require either permanent transfers, or a loan with obligation to buy, it seems as if they might finally have found a player available on their terms.

Multiple sources including Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com all have the same details, namely that they are close to an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for Boniface on loan with option to buy.

The total cost if confirmed would be around €30m, although it is possible some clauses could be included to make this an obligation if certain conditions were met.

It would be a paid loan, though it remains to be seen how much of that fee would be the loan.

The 24-year-old Nigeria international was only purchased from Union Saint-Gilloise for €22.6m in the summer of 2023.

Despite numerous injury problems, Boniface still managed to score 11 goals and provide two assists in 27 competitive games for Bayer Leverkusen last season.
