Another Women’s football star has seen her season come to a horrible end, as it is now confirmed that France and Lyon star Delphine Cascarino has torn her ACL and will miss ‘several months’.
It will come has a crushing blow to France, as Cascarino will join the list of stars that will miss the World Cup in New Zealand and Australia this summer.

In a club statement, Lyon had this to say on Cascarino’s injury.
“Olympique Lyonnais would like to give their full support to Delphine Cascarino who will be absent from the field for several months. The club will make every effort to allow him to return in the best conditions for the future deadlines to come.”
The 26-year-old has chipped in with four goals and four assists for Lyon in the Division 1 Fémenine, helping lead the club to what would be a third straight league title.
