Arsenal are set to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga with a deal in the process of being finalised according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

Chelsea are set for another busy summer and as well as incomings, the Blues have a number of players they need to find new homes for.

The Blues could sell as many as ten players this summer, which will help them raise funds in order to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Arsenal set to sign Kepa

One player who falls into that category is Kepa and the 30-year-old impressed last season on loan at Bournemouth.

Kepa was recently linked with a move to Arsenal and David Ornstein has reported the Gunners are now set to sign the Spain international.

“Deal in process of being finalised after 30yo Spanish goalkeeper agreed to join #AFC & fight for place. £5m release clause in #CFC contract will need activating.

Whilst the clause hasn’t yet been activated that’s expected to be a formality and Kepa will become the latest player to swap Chelsea for Arsenal.

The Spaniard made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries last season, and the world’s most expensive goalkeeper is now to set to make the switch to North London.

Chelsea want to sign Maignan

With Kepa on his way out there could be another goalkeeper arriving and Chelsea are said to have had an opening offer rejected for AC Milan’s Mike Maignan.

Milan are said to value the France international at £20-£25m, but Chelsea feel Maignan is only worth £8.5m given he’s got a year left on his contract.

If Chelsea want the 29-year-old to feature for the entirety of the Club World Cup they need to complete the deal before June 10th, with the Blues facing Los Angeles FC in their first game on June 16th.
