Daniel Svensson nominated for April "Rookie of the Month" | OneFootball

Svensson joined Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of February and has since made ten appearances for the Black & Yellows in the Bundesliga. He was in the starting XI for all four league matches in April. The Swede scored his first goal for BVB in the home match against Mönchengladbach (3-2) and celebrated it with a somersault. He also contributed two assists in the 4-0 win away to TSG Hoffenheim.

The other nominees are Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) and Leopold Querfeld (Union Berlin).

The vote is decided by the fans (40%), club representatives (30%) and selected Bundesliga experts (30%). All Bundesliga players under the age of 23 at the time of Matchday 1 who have never previously featured in a starting XI and have not accumulated more than 450 minutes of playing time in the league are eligible. The Bundesliga presents the award each month together with Sorare. At the end of the season, the "Rookie of the Season" is chosen from the monthly winners.
