Tottenham Hotspur were 2-0 up against Chelsea after just 11 minutes on Sunday evening, but they collapsed and suffered a 4-3 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was the 11th time that Tottenham lost a Premier League game after having been two or more goals ahead.

Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara was furious about the way Spurs crumbled and made it clear that he wants Postecoglou to leave his role as manager.

Tottenham are seven points off fourth spot in the Premier League table. It is going to be hard for the club to end up in the Champions League places this season.

Levy should not sack Postecoglou

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy should not make a knee-jerk reaction and sack Postecoglou even if results do not improve in the coming weeks.

Spurs have some tough games coming up. After facing Rangers at Ibrox in the Europa League on Thursday evening, they will face Southampton in the league.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers are next on the agenda.

The way Tottenham failed to win against Fulham, lost to Bournemouth and collapsed against Chelsea means that the fans cannot say for sure that the team will win against Southampton, Wolves and Rangers.

However, Spurs chairman Levy needs to keep faith in Postecoglou and not sack him just yet. After all, who is the alternative?

Tottenham finished just two points off the final Champions League spot last season. The team played wonderful football during the season.

Postecoglou needs to change his style and be more pragmatic, but sacking a manager due to a few bad results makes no sense.
