Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Petar Sucic is set to undergo his medicals and sign a five-year contract with Inter Milan tomorrow.

This according to Croatian outlet Tportal, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri will pay a fee of €14 million plus €2.5 million in add-ons, as well as a 10% sell-on fee.

Inter have been in negotiations with Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb for Sucic in recent weeks.

The 22-year-old is a player who the Nerazzurri have identified as a midfield reinforcement for the future.

Inter reportedly see Sucic as a potential long-term heir to Hakan Calhanoglu. Particularly in the event that Kristjan Asllani does not manage to stake his claim in the role.

However, Sucic is also a versatile midfielder. Therefore, there have been reports that he could also take the place of Davide Frattesi should the Italian international leave in the summer.

Inter have wrapped up the negotiations with Dinamo. Croatian outlet Tportal confirm that the total value of the deal for Sucic will be around €6 million.

Inter will pay the Croatian club a fee of €14 million. Then, there will be €2.5 million in add-ons.

Additionally, Dinamo will receive 10% of any future transfer fee that Inter receive for Sucic.

And Inter have also agreed terms with Sucic on the move. The Croatian international is ready to sign a five-year deal with Inter until the end of June 2030.

Now, the final step is for Petar Sucic to undergo his medicals with the Nerazzurri.

And according to Tportal, the 22-year-old is flying to Italy. He will be in Milan tomorrow to undergo his medicals and sign his contract.

Then, Sucic will be at the San Siro in the evening to watch his new teammates play against Fiorentina in Serie A.

Sucic will spend the remainder of the season at Dinamo. However, reports indicate that his contract with Inter will be valid before the start of the Club World Cup this summer.

Therefore, the Croatian international will be a part of the Nerazzurri’s squad for that competition.
