Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Petar Sucic will undergo his medicals and sign a five-year contract with Inter Milan today.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter have been in negotiations with Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb for Sucic in recent weeks.
The 22-year-old is a player who the Nerazzurri have identified as a midfield reinforcement for the future.
Inter reportedly see Sucic as a potential long-term heir to Hakan Calhanoglu. Particularly in the event that Kristjan Asllani does not manage to stake his claim in the role.
However, Sucic is also a versatile midfielder. Therefore, there have been reports that he could also take the place of Davide Frattesi should the Italian international leave in the summer.
Inter have wrapped up the negotiations with Dinamo. The Gazzetta confirm that the total value of the deal for Sucic will be around €16 million.
Inter will pay the Croatian club a fee of €14 million. Then, there will be €2 million in add-ons.

Additionally, Dinamo will receive 10% of any future transfer fee that Inter receive for Sucic.
And Inter have also agreed terms with Sucic on the move. The Croatian international is ready to sign a five-year deal with Inter until the end of June 2030.
Now, the final step is for Petar Sucic to undergo his medicals with the Nerazzurri.
The Croat is in Milan today. He will undergo his medicals, and then sign his contract.
Then, Sucic will be at the San Siro to watch Inter in action against Fiorentina.
Sucic will not become an Inter player immediately, and will spend the rest of the season with Dinamo Zagreb. However, he will be available for the Club World Cup this summer.
