Venue: MetLife Stadium in East RutherfordThis multifunctional stadium is home to the New York Giants and New York Jets NFL teams and was the venue for the 2016 Copa América Centenario final, in which Chile defeated Lionel Messi's Argentina on penalties. Numerous global stars from the music industry have also performed at the stadium, including Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. The stadium has been selected as the venue for the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It will also host two other knockout matches and five group-stage games.

Weather: Sunny and up to 31 degreesThe weather forecast for Saturday: the sun will be shining throughout the day. The temperature is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius when the game kicks off at 16:00 local time.

Kits: White versus black and yellowAs usual when the two teams play against each other, Real Madrid will be dressed in white and Borussia Dortmund will be in their usual colours of yellow (shirts and socks) and black (shorts and parts of the shirt).
