Connah’s Quay Nomads clinch Genero Adran North title

Connah’s Quay Nomads won the Genero Adran North title with two games to spare, Pontypridd United won a top-two clash in the South.
Championship Round
Cardiff City 1-2 Wrexham (Att: 131) The New Saints 1-2 Briton Ferry Llansawel
Wrexham went third in the table when coming from behind to win at leaders Cardiff City. Lily Billingham’s opener was soon replied to by Ava Suckley, before Abbie Ibbenden bagged a second-half winner.
Briton Ferry are within five points of top spot after winning away to The New Saints, despite falling behind to an early Alice Broadley own-goal. Alice Witts missed a penalty for Llansawel but Lowri Ridings levelled and Laura-May Walkley struck an 5th-minute winner from distance.
Relegation Round
Barry Town United 1-3 Aberystwyth Town (Att: 105) Cardiff Met 1-2 Swansea City (Att: 96)
Aberystwyth Town won 3-1 at Barry to move nine points from danger. Jasmine Turner opened the scoring for the home side but Libby Isaac and Carys Bufton turned the game in Aber’s favour. Substitute Lily Moralee-Hughes sealed the points in the 90th-minute, with Barry’s Erin Murray sent off afterwards.
Swansea City took the points 2-1 at basement side Cardiff Met. The Swans led through an own goal, India Shanahan equalised on 84 minutes but Steph Turner grabbed a late winner.
Adran North
Bangor 0-4 Llanfair United (Att: 44) Connah’s Quay Nomads 12-0 NFA (Att: 151) Felinheli 2-2 Llandudno Rhyl 2-1 Flint Town United (Att: 86)
Connah’s Quay Nomads netted a dozen goals against NFA to move a decisive eight points clear of Llanfair United in the title race. Anna Marsh hit a hat-trick for the Nomads, Llanfair scored three goals in the last eight minutes at Bangor.
The meeting of third and fourth finished 2-2, as Felinheli stayed three points in front of Llandudno. Kelsey Davies bagged an early brace for Llandudno but Jenna Allsup and Llywela Edwards hit back to tie the match.
Rhyl rose to sixth on goal-difference when seeing off Flint Town 2-1 with goals by Emily Bentley and Rebecca Bannister. They now trail United by three points with a game in hand.
Adran South
Caldicot Town 1-6 Penybont (Att: 43) Llanelli Town 1-2 Cascade (Att: 120) Swansea University 0-2 Pontypridd United (Att: 50)
Pontypridd United won the top-two battle 2-0 at Swansea University to go three points ahead of their closest rivals. Quianna Wheeler made the breakthrough in the final quarter of the match, with Nicole Fenton adding a late second.
Penybont hit Caldicot with four second-half goals on win 6-1 but only have a mathematical chance left to win the division.
Cascade are six points off the top with a game in hand following a 2-1 win at Llanelli, whose Stacey Webber had opened the scoring. Annaliese Lewis got the leveller and Erin Parry the winner seven minutes into added time.
