Manchester City travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon as they look to end a torrid run of form with a win in their final game of the 2024 calendar year.
The reigning Premier League champions have recorded just one win in all of their last 13 matches across competitions, losing nine outings in that time and their last result being a 1-1 draw at home to Everton in the top-flight on Boxing Day.
Football will resume for Manchester City in the New Year with a Premier League outing against West Ham United at home, as Pep Guardiola and his players will no doubt want to get things off to a much brighter start to how matters have ended this year.
As for Leicester City, Ruud van Nistelrooy is currently winless in all of his last four matches despite a winning start to life with the Foxes, drawing just one game in the last quartet of Premier League fixtures.
Having battled their way through a difficult few weeks on the injury front, Manchester City will remain without a number of crucial first-team starts this weekend with all of Ruben Dias, Rodri, Oscar Bobb, and John Stones missing.
But ahead of kick-off at the King Power Stadium, here is how both Ruud van Nistelrooy and Pep Guardiola have lined up their respective Leicester City and Manchester City sides in Premier League action!
