The Rossoneri arrived in Zagreb and at the Maksimir stadium, where the last Champions League league phase game will be played on Wednesday, 29 January, at 21:00 CET. In the meantime, Coach Conceição and Christian Pulisic previewed the match. Here's what they had to say:
SÉRGIO CONCEIÇÃO
ON DINAMO ZAGREB V AC MILAN
"We have prepared ourselves in a short time, as we were preparing to play a series of decisive matches, but I expect the team to give a positive performance and win. It will be an important and difficult match. We want to end the first phase of this competition in the best possible way: getting into the top eight in the Champions League is our goal now, after winning the Supercoppa Italiana. In the Champions League, in the long term, we aim to finish in the top four. They still have playoff hopes, so they will have great motivation in facing us. My choices will only be affected by Dinamo, not by the Derby."
THE TEAM
"We don't need any particular shock; the shock comes from working and playing matches like this. I'd like to improve some aspects of our game: the management of certain phases of ball possession, the reaction when we lose the ball. These are the details, we need time and unfortunately we have very little of it. I see positive and negative things, we have never given up and, although I would prefer to win in a more comfortable way and not always in a comeback, I am appreciating the positive attitude. I see a very good group of people, I've changed a lot of things since I arrived but the guys have respected and followed my decisions."
CHRISTIAN PULISIC
SPIRIT
"So far we have done well in the Champions League, and we have a great opportunity to finish in the top eight. Recently, the team has shown a good spirit; we try to give our best in every game, also in the league. With Conceição, we have improved our attitude: we believe in ourselves all the way."
