Como head coach Cesc Fabregas is reportedly hoping to bring one of his former Chelsea teammates over to Serie A, as former Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has been linked with a move to the Stadio Sinigaglia in January.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Como are hoping to add the experienced 36-year-old to their ranks in the January transfer window.
Sky report that Matic is not opposed to the deal as long as an agreement on economic terms is found.
Matic and Fabregas are former teammates, having spent three years together at Chelsea between 2014 and 2017. They both won two Premier League titles together, one under Jose Mourinho, and one under Antonio Conte.

Fabregas is only one year older than his former teammate, but Matic has not yet hung up his boots, and has kept himself in an impressive condition given his age.
The 36-year-old played an important role in Lyon’s revival in Ligue 1 last season, helping the team out of the relegation zone and into the Europa League positions by the end of the season.
This term, he has made 13 appearances in the French top flight, plus a further four appearances in European competition.
