Como boss Cesc Fabregas rejects Bayer Leverkusen move | OneFootball

Serie A side Como faced the threat of losing Cesc Fabregas but the Spaniard has now rejected the chance to join Bayer Leverkusen.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Como have informed the German side that they see Fabregas as an unsellable entity and he will stay at the club this summer.

There was previously a meeting involving Fabregas and the Bayer Leverkusen management, with the Spaniard having considered the move at one point. But he has now decided to stay at Como and honour his current contract.

The ex-Arsenal player has now understood that Como are ambitious and want to operate at the highest level. So much so that he is already looking at potential targets for the summer, with Barcelona’s Eric Garcia a target. Bryan Cristante is also a target and Deportivo’s Yeremay Hernandez is also liked by the club.
