Claudio Ranieri is on his way to becoming Roma’s head coach for the third time in his career.
Despite his decision to retire from club football last summer, Ranieri is ready to make an exception for the team of his heart.
As confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Ranieri and his agent have landed in London a few minutes before 11 p.m. UK time.
The Italian technician is scheduled to meet with the Friedkins in the English capital to discuss the details of the agreement which will likely see him assume the role of interim manager until the end of the season.
If the meeting is successful, the announcement should arrive as early as Wednesday, November 13, writes Di Marzio.
