After Smalling’s move to Al Fayha became official, Cooke penned a message on her Instagram profile.

“Rome has been our home for 5 years now and will be in our hearts forever more. We’re all so sad to leave.
Thank you to everyone who made it so special for us. We’ve made many friends for life and will never forget this special city. Good luck to Roma for the future.
Last but certainly not least thank you to Chris for forever being so brave and honourable. We love you, we’re proud beyond words of you and we’re here supporting you always, on to the next chapter.”
