Chivas Femenil's win in El Clasico de Mexico slips away from them | OneFootball

Despite taking an early lead and making great efforts defensively, Chivas Femenil was unable to score the winning goal and split the points with América in a 1-1 draw on Matchday 11 of the Clausura 2025.

Antonio Contreras' team showed good defensive solidity, but in stoppage time, the team from the capital found a play inside the box and that was enough to equalize the score.

Guadalajara took the lead at 8' through Araceli Torres, who found a ball at the far post and, after cutting inside the area, fired a right-footed shot that was unreachable for the visiting goalkeeper. Subsequently, the match became even more closely contested and without finding a clear dominator, until, in stoppage time, the Rebaño missed a penalty kick that would eventually prove to be costly, as Kiana Palacios equalized in the last moments of the match.
