Chelsea made it two wins from two games with a 7-0 victory at Crystal Palace in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Lauren James had the ball in the Palace net but the whistle had gone for a head injury, then fired narrowly wide of the far post.
Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton redeemed herself with a one-handed save to deny Paige Riley, after she conceded possession from a poor pass out.
A fast break saw the visitors take a 38th-minute lead, Sjoeke Nusken sent Johanna Rytting Kaneryd away and she set the ball back for Aggie Beever-Jones to bury.
Annabel Blanchard had a chance to level before the break but could not quite get the right connection in front of goal.
Three minutes after the restart, Chelsea doubled their lead when the ball fell for Lucy Bronze and she fired into the top corner.
It was 3-0 when Beever-Jones played in Mayra Ramirez, who crossed for James to tap home.

Palace’s Katie Stengel connected with a cross but was just wide of the far post, before Guro Reiten got Chelsea’s fourth from Wieke Kaptein’s lay off.
Nathalie Bjorn turned in a corner from Catarina Macario, Reiten got her second of the match late on and Macario made it seven in added time.
