Chelsea have booked their place Conference League quarter-final after overcoming FC Copenhagen. With a 2-1 advantage from the last-16 first leg, the Blues increased their advantage early in the second half thanks to a fine strike from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Enzo Maresca has tended to use this competition to rotate his squad and done so again tonight with one eye on Sunday’s Premier League clash away at Arsenal. However, he was forced to call upon Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurella for the second half and the pair certainly made a difference as the Blues’ performance level raised.

The visitors did have their moments, particularly in the first-half, but ultimately become the latest side to fall victim to a dominant Chelsea side in this season’s Conference League.
