Guiu hit the headlines last season after scoring within 30 seconds of his senior debut for the Catalan outfit.
He scored two goals in seven appearances for the Blaugrana with his second arriving in the Champions League’s group stage.
The 18-year-old was offered improved terms to stay with his boyhood club but moves to the Blues on a six-year contract.
‘It’s an immense joy to sign for Chelsea and I struggled to sleep ahead of the journey here because I was so excited,’ said the 18-year-old. ‘Ever since I was small, it was my dream to play in the Premier League.
‘Now I have the opportunity to come here to Chelsea and I will work my hardest to be successful for the club.’
Guiu joins the ranks at Stamford Bridge for a reported €6m as Enzo Maresca prepares for his debut campaign.
