Chelsea booked their return to the Champions League for the first time in three years thanks to a second-half goal from Levi Colwill in a dramatic 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
It was a tense affair, with both sides knowing the result would decide which European competition they'd be heading into next season.
The first half offered very little in terms of clear chances, with Pedro Neto and Chris Wood both sending volleys over the bar from decent positions.
But just five minutes after the restart, the Blues made the breakthrough. Forest failed to clear their lines properly, and Neto made the most of it - squaring the ball across the face of goal for Colwill to slot home into an open net.
The Blues dug in to see out the win and secure Champions League football next season, wrapping up the 2025/26 Premier League campaign in style.
Enzo Maresca’s side finished fourth with 69 points after a tight race for European spots. Forest, who were chasing a Champions League place themselves in what’s been their best season in years, had to settle for seventh with 65 points.
