Chelsea are one of three clubs continuing to monitor the progress of exciting Southampton talent Tyler Dibling according to Sky Sports.
With the January window into the final two weeks the Blues haven’t been particularly active, although this is usually the time when business starts to pick up.
Chelsea have agreed a deal with Juventus for Renato Veiga to join the Italian giants on loan for the remainder of the season, but in terms of other outgoings and incomings there’s been very little.
The Blues have strengthened defensively this month given injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, with Trevoh Chalobah being recalled from Crystal Palace.
A deal worth up to €15m has also been agreed with Strasbourg for highly rated 19-year-old centre back Mamadou Sarr, who will join in the summer.
It’s no secret the Blues are looking to strengthen in other areas of the pitch especially in attack, where they are desperate for an alternative to Nicolas Jackson.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Liam Delap, whilst they are also said to have joined the race for Benjamin Sesko.
However, Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas has stated the Blues are one of three clubs monitoring the progress of Dibbling.
He took to X.com and said:
“Excl. #Southampton would not entertain offers of any less than £55m at least for Tyler Dibling this month; as #AstonVilla, #Chelsea and #Tottenham all continue to monitor the 18yo’s progress at #SaintsFC.”
Dibling was briefly on Chelsea’s books, and the Blues signed him from Southampton in 2022, but he only made a few appearances for the academy before rejoining the south coast side.

Despite playing in a Southampton side rooted to the bottom of the table, Dibling has had a brilliant season, and has really stood out.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has made 24 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists, and with Southampton almost certain to go down there will be high demand for his signature in the summer.
