Another one down – we haven’t seen him lifting the shirt yet, but Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Carney Chukwuemeka would be sold to Dortmund for around £20m.
Looking back at Nizaar Kinsella’s 10 man list of players to sell from June, that puts Chelsea in a strong position.

“Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Djordje Petrovic, Armando Broja, Joao Felix, Renato Veiga, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka and Lesley Ugochukwu were “available for sale,” he claimed.
Chelsea have now managed to clear almost that whole list: Kepa, Petrovic, Broja, Felix, Ugochukwu, Veiga and now Chukwuemeka are all gone, bringing the list down to 3.
That number then became 7 again, as Matt Law added 4 more: Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Tyrique George and Aaron Anselmino were all players the club would sell or loan on the right terms, but weren’t desperate to be rid of.
Anselmino will go to Dortmund too as an associated part of the Chukwuemeka deal, so even that bonus list is down to 3 now.
From the remainders, Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling are in the same boat – high wages and no interest. Jackson and Nkunku have lots of interest but Chelsea are asking for big money. Axel Disasi is being linked with Bournemouth, but we’ve yet to see word of a convincing bid.
Tyrique George may stick around in the first team squad, but there’s also reported interest from Leipzig around the winger. If he feels he’s not going to play enough, we can see him loaned or sold with a sell on or buy back.
With more than a week to go in the window, we can see a situation where all of them go or a situation where none of them do. It’s going to be exciting either way.
