Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile remains on Marseille’s radar | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille have been widening their search for two extra experienced central defenders as Roberto De Zerbi looks to move to a back four next season where Les Phocéens will be returning to the UEFA Champions League. According to L’Équipe, Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile (24) is among the list of players that OM are currently looking at.Les Olympiens’ pursuit for a new centre back has seen the club linked with several high-profile names, including Aymeric Laporte, Facundo Medina, and Nayef Aguerd. L’Équipe reported earlier this year that another option could be to try and secure Chelsea centre-back Benoît Badiashile (24).The latest reporting suggests Marseille still have Badiashile on their radar, whilst they close in on several targets including Lens defender Facundo Medina. Celta Vigo defender Óscar Mingueza is also on the list, as well as Borussia Dortmund’s Ramy Bensebaïni (30). This season former Monaco man Badiashile only made 19 appearances across all competitions for the Blues, as competition to feature in Enzo Maresca’s starting XI is set to increase further over the summer.
