Nicolas Jackson is currently not for sale, and Chelsea are planning to have at least two “frontline” strikers in their squad according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

Chelsea have already completed the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich for £30m, which has raised question marks over the future of Nicolas Jackson.

Jackson’s future was further thrown into doubt after he was sent off against Flamengo for a terrible challenge just four minutes after coming off the bench.

Nicolas Jackson currently not for sale

It’s been reported Jackson is attracting interest from both Juventus and Napoli, but a move to Italy is viewed as unlikely unless the reported asking price of more than £50m drops.

Jackson endured a difficult season in which he managed ten Premier League goals, although he did score in the Conference League final.

The 24-year-old is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2033, so any potential exit could prove difficult and right now it appears unlikely he’s looking to force his way out of Stamford Bridge, with Solhekol providing an update.

He took to X.com and said:

“Chelsea are planning to have at least two frontline strikers in their squad next season which means Nicolas Jackson is not for sale at the moment.

“Jackson has been the subject of interest from three Premier League clubs as well clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia this summer.

“Clubs in Italy are interested in Jackson but they may not be able to afford the transfer fee and wages which would lead to any potential sale.

“Last summer he signed a two-year contract extension which ties him to Chelsea until 2033. Chelsea have already signed Liam Delap this summer and may well sign another striker.”

Kolo Muani a target

Whether Jackson stays or goes remains to be seen, but Chelsea are still looking to bring in another forward, and a new name appears to be on their list.

Chelsea have reportedly entered into negotiations for Paris Saint Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani who’s currently on loan at Juventus.

It’s unclear what the European Champions asking price would be, but Chelsea have previously been linked and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move.
