Premier League outfits Chelsea have agreed on personal terms with Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

According to an update on X by Daniele Longo, Chelsea could close the deal for Mike Maignan with Milan tomorrow. While there is still a gap to be bridged between the two sides on transfer fees, The Blues have managed to agree on personal terms with the goalkeeper verbally.

As per a previous report, it is understood that Chelsea’s offer for the Frenchman was worth below €20 million, including bonuses. The Rossoneri remain firm in their €30 million demand and are hoping to force Chelsea’s hand since they are aiming to take Maignan to the Club World Cup.

Enzo Maresca’s club will not leave matters to conclude till the June 10 transfer deadline for teams participating in the Club World Cup, and are expected to increase their bid to agree with Milan.

The agreement between the clubs could be made official tomorrow.
