The trio missed Celtic’s 2-0 win over Dundee with the manager taking no chances with a packed fixture list upcoming. Speaking before the game on Wednesday night, Brendan Rodgers confirmed that the players would be fit for the weekend’s League Cup Semi Final against Aberdeen.
Adam Idah picked up a knock after Liam Gordon’s red card challenge at Fir Park but fortunately escaped with only bruising. Kühn, meanwhile, had stiffness in his hip and the manager didn’t want to risk the influential attacker by aggravating it.
Skipper Callum McGregor missed the win at Fir Park last weekend after picking up some tightness in his abductor, meaning that Brendan had an excuse to give the captain a well-earned rest.
