The winger currently represents Djurgarden in Sweden’s top division – and according to reports Celtic and even theRangers are eyeing the winger ahead of the summer transfer window opening next month.
Fallenius found the net once across seven outings as his team advanced to the UEFA Conference League semi-finals this season, where they were ultimately eliminated by English Premier League side Chelsea.
According to fotbolldirekt.se, both of Glasgow’s big two have identified Fallenius as a target and have recently dispatched scouts to evaluate his performances.
So far neither club has submitted an official offer. The 23 year-old has netted seven goals and provided nine assists across 78 competitive matches for Djurgarden, with his contract running until 2026.
The reported pursuit has emerged shortly following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season in Scotland. Celtic secured the Premiership title for a fourth consecutive season but missed out on a Treble after falling to Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final last Saturday at Hampden.
After parting ways with Philippe Clement in February, theRangers ended the season without silverware once again and are continuing their search for a permanent manager, with Davide Ancelotti and Russell Martin among the candidates rumoured for the Ibrox position.
Meanwhile, the news of Celtic’s interest in Fallenius also comes after a report last night outlined the Scottish champions are reportedly eyeing a potential move for his teammate and Djurgardens left-back Keita Kosugi.

The Hoops are among several clubs showing interest in the Japanese left-back, who joined the Swedish side a year ago.
Similarly to Fallenus, the 19-year-old stood out with his displays during Djurgarden’s Allsvenskan campaign as well as their impressive showing in the UEFA Conference League.

A winger and a left-back are positions of priority for Brendan Rodgers and it will be interesting to see if when the transfer window opens next month Celtic will attempt to snap up the Djugarden’s duo.
