Celtic FC Women will kick off their Sky Sports Cup campaign against Montrose following this morning’s draw.

Alongside the other SWPL sides, the Ghirls enter the competition at the second round stage, and will be joined by the four SWPL2 clubs who advance from the first round.

The Hoops will face-off against the Gable Endies as they begin their pursuit of more silverware by making the trip to Links Park.

Last campaign, the Celts played Montrose on three occasions, coming out victorious in all three games, scoring 24 goals in the process.

The tie is scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 29 with full fixture details to be confirmed in due course.
