Two of Scotland’s most exciting singer-songwriters featured in the recent adidas promo feature for the new Celtic away kit.

Brooke Combe and Rianne Downey featured alongside the likes of Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, along with Hoops legend Henrik Larsson and many other famous faces, including Celtic captain, Callum McGregor.

And both Brooke and Rianne also feature in the latest issue of the Celtic View, which has a musical theme to it – from the Oasis-inspired front cover through to interviews with Stuart Braithwaite from the band Mogwai, bass player Mani of Stones Roses and Primal Scream fame, and Brian Cannon, designer of the iconic ‘Oasis’ logo and the band’s early album covers, as well as many, many more features and interviews.

Brooke Combe Interview

Brooke Combe still makes sure she keeps up to speed with the goings-on at Celtic Park when she’s out touring,

And, in an attempt to continue spreading the good word of Celtic, she has even gifted Lionel Richie a Celtic jersey with his name printed on the back, which, in Combe’s opinion, makes the former frontman of The Commodores the newest member of the Celtic faithful.

She said: “I would say that he is now a Celtic supporter, because he owns a jersey! So we’ve gained another fan. I’ve claimed Lionel Richie as a Hoops fan!

“I’m always keeping up to date with Celtic. I’m hoping to get back up to a game again soon, but even when I can’t make it to Celtic Park, I keep posted on what’s happening.”

Rianne Downey Interview

Even with her hectic schedule, which is set to step up a notch once her new album is released in October, Rianne Downey still makes sure she keeps up-to-speed with what’s happening in the world of Celtic.

And the Hoops fan also ranks her performance at Celtic Park before the UEFA Champions League clash against Lazio in 2023 as one of the highlights of her career so far, as she looked back on some of the big shows that she has played over the last few years.

“I’ve played some amazing gigs now to be fair, and, naturally, I’ll never forget playing at Celtic Park, that was amazing. And obviously Glastonbury and TRNSMT with Paul Heaton, especially the moment when he announced to the crowd what team I support! That was class.

“I think, weirdly, since I moved away to Liverpool, I’ve become even more of a Celtic supporter. It’s like that way where you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone!

“I’m constantly looking on social media and refreshing my notifications for Celtic news, especially now that we’re off season and waiting to see who we’re going to sign and things like that. I feel like I’m even more Celtic-daft than I’ve ever been! C’mon the Hoops!”
