We’ll enter the fixture looking to bounce back from our defeat to Spurs last time out but will meet a Seagulls team who beat Oxford United 6-0 in their previous assignment.

All roads lead to an exciting clash in East Sussex, and FPL managers will  be looking to bolster their teams ahead of Saturday 30 August 11:00 (UK) deadline.

CITY STAR

Rico Lewis (£5.0m) could be a shrewd investment ahead in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) of Manchester City’s trip to Brighton & Hove Albion in Gameweek 3.

The full-back has played in both of City’s matches so far this season and produced 12 points, making him the Blues' second-highest FPL points scorer.

Lewis offers returns at both ends of the pitch. In Gameweek 1 he assisted Tijjani Reijnders’ (£5.7m) second goal and kept a clean sheet.

The defender is also joint-third at City for defensive contributions with 12.

ONE TO WATCH

Matt O’Riley (£5.5m) has been Brighton’s chief threat so far this season. He is joint-top at Brighton for attempts on goal and chances created and leads the way for crosses with six.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest’s Dan Ndoye (£6.0m) and Spurs’ Brennan Johnson (£7.0m) are low-owned gems who have the potential to return in Gameweek 3.

Ndoye has made an instant impact since signing from Bologna, scoring on debut on GW1 and producing an assist in GW2.

Johnson has also hit the ground running for Spurs this season with a goal in both matches. He hosts a Bournemouth side who conceded four goals on their last away trip.
