WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Seagulls this morning.
The 20-year-old attacker joins Brighton & Hove Albion after leaving former club Real Madrid earlier this summer. Camacho came through The Whites’ youth ranks before breaking into the club’s B team. The youngster has been in and around the first team squad for the last four years and has provided some additional competition in the attacking areas.
On the international stage, Camacho has represented Spain at various youth levels up to and including Under-19 level. She won the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup in 2022 and UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship the following year.
After adding Camacho to his squad, Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Dario Vidošić said “We’re pleased to have Carla with us. She has a good pedigree at Real Madrid and is looking forward to experiencing a new challenge in the WSL.
“She will need time to settle in but we’re looking forward to watching her progress and develop with us.”
Camacho is Brighton & Hove Albion’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
