United States international striker Brian White continues to enjoy himself in Vancouver under Jesper Sørensen and has come up big for the Whitecaps against LAFC.

It was a poor start to the night for the home side against Steve Cherundolo's outfit, who found themselves down by two goals inside the opening 20 minutes.

An early finish from Marco Delgado was doubled up on from the penalty spot by Gabonese star Denis Bouanga as LAFC looked out of sight on the night.

But it was not long after that White rose highest in the box to head home Sebastian Berhalter's free-kick into the box to cut the deficit on the night while extending a lifeline.

It was White's seventh goal of the 2025 MLS season, but the central attacker was not done there, as he would go on to head home again in the 70th minute to bag his eighth of the campaign and 13th in all competitions

That brace now sees him become joint leader in the Golden Boot race alongside Cristian Arango, Hugo Cuypers, and Tai Baribo.

White, who banked April Player of the Month honors recently, hit 15 goals in each of his last two seasons at BC Place and is currently on course for a career-best should his run of form continue.
