Following their elimination from the Club World Cup and the completion of Jobe Bellingham last summer, Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund are planning their next transfer move.
Last week, it was announced that Jamie Gittens has joined Chelsea for a fee that could rise to €65m. This means that die Schwarzgelben have some extra transfer windfall. They are now beginning to plan for their next move in the window.
Real Madrid centre-back Diego Aguado is said to be of interest to Dortmund. The Spanish side are demanding €10m, which is too much for Dortmund, and on top of this, centre-back is not a priority for the club at the moment.
Instead, they are planning a transfer that would be similar to that of Jobe in terms of value. The aim is to sign an attacker who can play on either wing and will cost around €30m.
The target could be PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko, who has been linked to the club, but Dortmund likely faces competition from Ligue 1. While they could also look to the Championship once again, with Ipswich forward Omari Hutchinson also mentioned.
