We take a look at how the Borussia Dortmund first-team players out on loan this season are faring with their respective clubs.
Borussia Dortmund sent four players out on loan this past summer, with Youssoufa Moukoko, Sebastien Haller, Salih Özcan, and Soumaïla Coulibaly all leaving the club in search of more playing time. Here is how their loan spells are going.
After months of speculation, Youssoufa Moukoko joined Ligue 1 side OGC Nice and made a strong start to life on the French Riviera. But things have slowed down a bit for the talented young striker, who has found himself in and out of the team in recent matches.
Moukoko was taken off at half-time in Nice's Europa League clash against FC Twente, before being left on the bench against LOSC Lille. The 19 year old has featured just once in the league over the last three matchdays, and he was subbed on in the 90th minute in that game.
Despite his lack of playing time, Moukoko does have two goals and two assists to his name in just 413 minutes on the pitch. He will hope to get more playing time in the coming weeks and months in a bid to earn a permanent move to Nice or elsewhere next summer.
