Bimbo Tu and BFC present “Bologna tifa per i bambini” | OneFootball

The fifth edition of Bimbo Tu and Bologna FC 1909’s campaign, “Bologna tifa per i bambini” was presented this morning at a press conference at the Renato Dell’Ara stadium.

This years aim is to buy a HypnoVR , an innovative medical device that uses virtual reality to help younger patients by reducing the emotional and physical impact of painful and distressing medical procedures. This sophisticated device, that can be used in a range of scenarios, will be donated to the Children’s Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the IRCCS Insitute of Neurological Sciences in Bologna at the Bellaria Hospital.

Like every year, the stars of the campaign will be the iconic Trudi teddy bears with Bologna Fc and Bimbo Tu branding. For every 15 euros donated, Bimbo Tu will gift a cuddly toy to a young patient in Bologna paediatric hospital where the association’s volunteers work.

To mark the start of the fundraising, there will be a unique event on 14 March at 20:30 CET at the PalaSavena in San Lazzaro: the Partita del Cuore, a tournament in which three teams will compete: Bologna Legends, Cesena Legends4charity and Parma Forever. Once again the initiative has been made possible thanks to the generosity of the main partner BCC FELSINEA and the support of UNISALUTE, ENGEL & VÖLKERS e CONSERVE ITALIA. The fundraising campaign has now been combining sport with solidarity for five years, funding key donations of technical devices to local healthcare services, improving treatment and support for young patients and their families.

The Partita del Cuore will be a special sporting moment, a chance to see past icons play, showing once again how football can be used to represent important values.
