Benjamin Sesko : Agreement in principle between RB Leipzig and Manchester United – Report | OneFootball

RB Leipzig and Manchester United have now reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Benjamin Sesko.

David Ornstein of The Athletic with the exclusive on Thursday afternoon.

He reports that the agreed transfer fee is for a total of €85m (approx £73.7m).

That figure comprised of a guaranteed €76.5m and then future add-ons of €8.5m.

David Ornstein stating that Newcastle United had also offered a total of  €85m (approx £73.7m), though that was a guaranteed €82.5m plus €2.5m in add-ons

The man from The Athletic revealing that Benjamin Sesko has now been given permission by RB Leipzig to fly to the UK and have his medical before completing the move to Manchester United.

RB Leipzig will be ecstatic to bank such a huge amount of cash for a striker who only scored 13 league goals last season in the weaker Bundesliga.
