TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – The 2025 Concacaf Central American Cup continued with CD Olimpia earning a 3-nil win against Real Estelí FC in Group D on Wednesday at Estadio José de la Paz Herrera Uclés in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Julián Martínez placed the Honduran side in front in the 5’ with a header inside the box. Edwin Rodríguez delivered the cross into the penalty area to capitalize on a short corner kick.

Evert Martínez received a second yellow card in the 90’+8’ and will miss Real Estelí’s next match.
Edwin Solano struck from close range in the 90’+9’ to add a third for Olimpia. Jorge Álvarez once again threatened from a free kick situation, forcing a block from Darryl Parker that rebounded off the left post for a second chance opportunity.
Olimpia goalkeeper Edrick Menjívar delivered two saves on the two attempts he faced to earn a 100% save success rate and collect his first clean sheet of the campaign.
CD Olimpia will return to play next Wednesday when it visits CD Hércules of El Salvador. Real Estelí will return to CAC play on August 14 when it visits Xelajú MC of Guatemala.
