Everton have confirmed the departure of Ben Godfrey on Friday for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old defender joins Serie A side Atalanta after making 93 appearances for the Premier League club.

Godfrey joined Everton from Norwich City in 2020 and eventually made his England debut while with the Toffees.
He made 16 appearances in 2023-24 and is Atalanta’s latest signing after Charles De Ketelaere.
The Serie A side finished fourth last season and also won the UEFA Europa League.
