Jude Bellingham and Linda Caicedo have won the Golden Boy and Golden Girl 2023 awards respectively. Organised by Tuttosport, the awards recognise the best male and female under-21 players registered with European clubs. The winner is chosen by a vote of 50 sports journalists. The awards will be presented at a gala in Turin on 4 December.

For Bellingham, this award adds to the Kopa Trophy he won at the last Ballon d'Or gala, which also honours the best under-21 player. The Englishman has had a spectacular start to the season with Real Madrid, scoring 13 goals. HIs performances at our club are coupled with his performances for Borussia Dortmund, where he was voted the best player in the 2022/23 Bundesliga. His team-mate Arda Güler was also one of the 25 finalists for the Golden Boy 2023 award.

Golden Girl Linda Caicedo has won the Golden Girl award at the age of just 18. Despite her youth, she played an outstanding role for Colombia at the last World Cup, helping them to reach the quarter-finals. Her goal against Germany was also voted the best of the tournament, and she has been nominated for the FIFA Puskas Award. At Real Madrid, she has been one of the most influential players since joining the club in February 2023. The Colombian has also been nominated for The Best FIFA Women's Player of the Year Award 2023.
