There was good news for Juventus Women on Tuesday, 11 March, 2025, with Chiara Beccari renewing her contract with the club until 30 June, 2028.
Having signed her deserved renewal, Chiara opened up about how this sign of trust from the club has made her feel, and what she wants to achieve going forward.
“I’m really happy with this renewal,” Chiara began, “because, after having had some difficulties in these last few months, it confirms the club’s trust in me.
“It comes just nine months after my last extension too, so I’m all the more happy because it shows the closeness and support of the club.
“I’m happy to have scored again last time out against Milan, it was a goal I needed, and generally I’m happy with how things have been going. I feel like I’ve grown in so many ways, and I knew it wouldn’t be easy but I hope things will get even better.”
Now tied to the Bianconere for three more years, Beccari’s insatiable ambition will aid her continued development.
“I hope that in these three years I can become a reference point for my teammates, an important player in the team and that I can find more consistency with my own performances.”
The Bianconere are a young side as a whole, and a team that has changed a lot since last summer and with Massimiliano Canzi’s arrival as coach.
“Since the coach arrived he has given huge attention to every phase of the game, especially the attacking side and he has brought his idea of football with him.
“He’s a coach who loves to attack and play with an open pitch, and I think we as a team reflect those characteristics. We’re more than happy to take games on with this approach, and I speak on behalf of all of my teammates, not just the other attacking players.”
Lastly, Chiara looked ahead at some personal and collective objectives towards the end of this 2024/25 season.
“As a team, we want to win as many trophies as we can. On a personal level, I’d like to get back to playing more consistently and to try to help the team in any way, not necessarily just with goals, but also with good performances.”
