Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane feels that Inter Milan are “one of the best teams in Europe” ahead of next month’s Champions League quarterfinal tie.
Kane gave his thoughts to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, after it was confirmed that the two European giants are on a collision course.
Inter Milan already know who they’ll be facing in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri will face Bayern Munich in the next round of the competition.
Inter won both legs of their round of sixteen tie against Feyenoord. And Bayern did the same in their own two-legged knock tie against domestic rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
That sets up a meeting between two of Europe’s most decorated clubs in the last eight of the continent’s biggest club competition.
Bayern and Inter are currently top of their respective domestic leagues.
Meanwhile, the pair are among the teams with the best records in the Champions League so far this season.

Therefore, it certainly promises to be a huge quarterfinal tie. Both will see it as among their most difficult challenges of the campaign so far.
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, scorer of yet another goal in yesterday’s win over Bayer Leverkusen, anticipated that “it will be tough” for the Bavarians against Inter.
“They’re top of their league,” he noted.
“They play good football, and defend well. It will be tough, particularly at the San Siro, which is one of the best stadiums in the world.”
Kane said that it’s “a match that we want to play in.”
“We’ll be facing one of the best teams in Europe,” added the 31-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur striker.
“Now we enjoy this win. And then we’ll focus on that match after the international break.”
