It could be a busy end of the transfer window at AS Monaco. The club recruited their players early, with Paul Pogba, Eric Dier, and Ansu Fati all at the club before the return for pre-season training.

However, in terms of departures, it has been quieter than expected. Maghnes Akliouche had looked sure to leave the club, yet he remains. The likes of Vanderson, Caio Henrique, Breel Embolo, and Wilfried Singo have also been touted as players that could leave Monaco in the summer, but all remain.

Needing to raise funds before the end of the window, Monaco may now reluctantly lose Denis Zakaria to Al-Ahli in a €45m deal. According to Nice-Matin, Eliesse Ben Seghir (20) could leave, too. The Morocco international has been the subject of a €25m bid from Bayer Leverkusen, who are in the market for a replacement for Bournemouth-bound Amine Adli.

However, L’Équipe adds that this bid will be rejected, with Monaco demanding a €35m fee for Ben Seghir, who has emerged as Bayer Leverkusen’s priority target to replace Adli.
